Kyle Busch scored the pole position for Sunday’s Food City 500, the fourth race of the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. Busch lapped the 0.533-mile Bristol Motor Speedway in only 14.813 seconds, at an average speed of 129.535 mph. Busch edged Kasey Kahne for the top spot.

Busch’s Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin will line up third ahead of a third Toyota in the top four, Brian Vickers in the Aaron’s Toyota for Michael Waltrip Racing.

Paul Menard clocked in fifth ahead of Jamie McMurray, Brad Keselowski, Tony Stewart, Martin Truex Jr. and Joey Logano.

Of the 44 cars entered, only Scott Riggs failed to qualify.

You guys have a LONG way to go with your motorsports coverage if you think it will rank up there with PFT, HBT and the rest of the family. I looked through the last 60 posts and I think 2 were NASCAR related. This is one of them and it’s nothing exciting, qualifying results that you can get at any racing site. F1 may be the most popular racing “worldwide” but in the USA it’s NASCAR. Even your Indy stuff outweighs your NASCAR coverage…and nobody really cares about Indy stuff (based on crowds and TV ratings). I don’t come here for my NASCAR coverage, to many good sites out there that do a great job. I was hoping however you would have some interesting content here, so far I have been wrong.
