Tomorrow’s running of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach for the IZOD IndyCar Series (4 p.m. ET, NBC Sports Network) will also be streamed live online and on mobile devices through NBC Sports Live Extra.

Customers with participating cable, satellite and telco TV providers can access the free service, which provides streaming coverage of all live NBC Sports events on both NBC and NBCSN through NBCSports.com/LiveExtra and the NBC Sports Live Extra app for iOS and select Android devices (available for purchase at the App Store and Google Play).

IZOD IndyCar Series races are part of the programming shown on NBC Sports Live Extra, which also features the rest of NBCSN’s live-event roster: Formula One, the National Hockey League, the English Premier League, Major League Soccer, horse racing’s Triple Crown, and more.

NBC Sports.com may want to do something about their dismal website. The last few weeks it has been absurdly slow. Page load times are typically several seconds and when logged into WordPress so I can post, the page load times increase to 6-10 seconds. Even logging out of WordPress take 5-8 seconds, so something is definitely wrong.

Win 7 with IE 8 here and no problems at any other website or multiple forums, nor issues at the WordPress Help Forum so it appears to be an NBC Sports website issue. It’s bad enough that if they don’t fix it I won’t bother coming here because the load times are obscene.

I have not found any place to e-mail NBC Sports directly so I hope that some of their people monitor these forums.

I agree plus it would be nice if the different series were split into separate areas. That way a viewer can go straight to the latest news in their area of interest!

To say this website is slow and unweildy is an understatement. I do like your writers, Luke and Tony especially, but I wonder if you are boxing them in with word limits. I see plenty of articles that I wish the authors had the space to expound on their storires with more depth, facts, and analysis.

And since NBCSports is showing GP2 apparently, it would be nice to get some news or at least a recap/results. Rossi took P3 on his debut, which is great… but I would have liked to have known it was being broadcast.
