Pair of IndyCar-related wins, interesting laptimes at Rolex 24

Sebastien Bourdais will have got all the glory of the overall Rolex 24 at Daytona win, and Townsend Bell, NBCSN’s IndyCar analyst, also was in the headlines as his Level 5 Motorsports team bagged the GT Daytona class win after a review by IMSA.

They weren’t alone in putting up interesting times or storylines from this year’s Rolex 24.

More than 20 drivers who competed in one or more IndyCar race in 2013 took to the grid at this year’s Rolex 24, as well as the top two from Indy Lights and new 2014 rookie Mikhail Aleshin.

Here’s a breakdown of their results, and additionally, their best lap times and average lap times.

    From looking at the overall times, it appears Bourdais ran the only sub 100 sec. lap. I only saw Hinch once during the race, but he must have had some kind of troubles, He had the slowest fast lap of all the prototypes.
