Is there a thing as too much Dale Jr.? NASCAR hopes not.

In the last 48-plus hours since his win Sunday night in the Daytona 500, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his close personal team have criss-crossed the country for various media appearances.

From the champion’s breakfast in Daytona, trips to New York, Texas and Los Angeles, a full media conference call on Tuesday, and appearances on NBCSN’s NASCAR AMERICA, the Late Show with David Letterman, a day through ESPN’s shows and countless others, Dale Jr. has been talking at 190-plus mph for two straight days.

He seems to be reveling in the moment, and he made sure to give back to the fans as a part of this experience.

Enter the first @DaleJr live Twitter chat on Tuesday night. Which he crushed.

There’s no sense copying and pasting the entire sequence of tweets, but on his flight from Texas to L.A., Earnhardt answered more than 50 questions on the flight.

Examples include a response to a race he wishes he could have driven in:

His favorite type of track:

And what he plans to use Twitter for:

His first follow? Not sports or music, but actor Tom Hanks. But now, as of Wednesday, Earnhardt is following 125 accounts, and is already on the verge of becoming a Twitter junkie.
