NASCAR, IndyCar stars begin to weigh in on Kurt Busch in the Indy 500

Mar 4, 2014, 10:45 AM EST

With the news now out that Kurt Busch is doing the Indianapolis 500-Coca-Cola 600 double, the reactions can begin pouring in.

First up, we have the congratulations from six-time, Jimmie Johnson.

We also have some support from Kasey Kahne, and a quick back-and-forth exchange between he and Busch.

Two of Team Penske’s IndyCar stars, Juan Pablo Montoya and Helio Castroneves, have offered their congratulations.

Meanwhile Johnson, who once jokingly wrote on a napkin he’d try to do the double himself, dismissed the suggestion that he’ll ever attempt the Indianapolis 500. But he would not, however, rule out a potential go at the 24 Hours of Le Mans down the road.
