ingenuity in action

One of the main reasons we love the Internet so much is the sometimes off-the-wall or rare gems you find while looking for something else.

And trust us, this is really rare, especially if you’re a drag racer or a fan of drag racing.

It’s hard to believe how far the sport has come since it was founded on the west coast back in the 1950s.

And although this movie — called “Ingenuity In Action” — is nearly a half-hour long, it’s worth sitting through just to see how the sport has evolved, not to mention hair cuts, clothes and more.

We especially love the action at what’s simply called “The Nationals.”

To think how far the NHRA has come.
