Off The Grid: F1 teams’ lavish motor homes (VIDEO)

In a clip from the latest episode of Off The Grid, Will Buxton explains the extraordinary motor homes the Formula 1 teams have for their drivers and staff. For example, Red Bull’s motor home is three stories and has a pool. These homes turn into trucks just hours after each race and are driven back to team headquarters each week.

    The engineering is very cool and exactly what you would expect from F1 teams and the associated partners who actually design and build these mobile palaces. It certainly is nice to be comfortable when at the track as much as possible as the teams and drivers work very hard every race. It’s a small perk that goes with the job but pretty neat.
