Hamilton and Rosberg clear the air, “still friends”

Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have spoken today following a tenuous Monaco Grand Prix weekend, and are “still friends” despite the Briton suggesting otherwise last Sunday.

Hamilton was left frustrated when he lost out on pole position to Rosberg in controversial fashion, and was disappointed not to win the race on Sunday. Instead, he had to settle for second place behind the German.

In the post-race interviews, Hamilton stated that the two were no longer friends, but merely colleagues. Rosberg, on the other hand, said that he still considered Hamilton to be a friend.

Today, in a tweet from his official Twitter account, Lewis put out a picture of the two in their junior racing days with the caption: “We’ve been friends for a long time, and as friends we have our ups and downs. Today we spoke and we’re cool, still friends.”

After a frosty week between the two drivers, it is nice to see that they have buried the hatchet, and can now head to the Canadian Grand Prix ready to rekindle their on track battle for the 2014 drivers’ championship.

Hammy will always be an arse clown. It would be no loss at all to lose his friendship.

Spot on Tech, he isn’t even the type of person I persoanlly would even acknowledge or attempt to be friends with. He truly thinks his poop smells like roses and in my opinion he just gives off a bad aura. And if you give off a bad aura on tv I can only imagine what it would be like in person. If it wasnt for his racing abilities (which I don’t deny) as well as his coddeling by McLaren since he was a kid he would be nothing but a burger flipper living paycheck to paycheck.

I think what he meant to say is, “we are friendly colleague’s” ..But in all honesty this is just the upper echelon at MERC doing some PR control with a band-aid before they are forced to do PR control with a tournicut.

Someone ought to tell him all the things he sees from the hip hop gangsta rap world do not make him cool
    and they diminish the person.
    techm. above has it correct.
