Such a shame McLaren ruined all their cars taking the tobacco branding off.

The photo with Takuya Izawa shows Marlboro branding. But the rules on such things are really odd. When I visited the Penske museum in Arizona a few years ago I was instructed upon entering that I could take pictures of anything except if it had tobacco branding on it. Of course such cars happened to find their way into the background of most of my pictures. Nothing was done about it.

That one must be from a private collection or Honda’s, McLaren has pulled all Marlboro/West branding from their collection and even retouch any photograph they post.

A guy was telling me about that at the IMS museum back in 2011, when they had almost all the 500 winning cars, that that had something to do with “promoting” tobacco use because the Penske museum is free or something stupid like that.
